Welcome to the RB Eye Foundation

The RB Eye Foundation was created in 2011 by Jim and Kami Schlossnagle with a mission of raising community awareness and support for patient care, diagnostic testing, and medical research pertaining to vision-threatening disease in children, including Lebers Congenital Amaurosis (LCA), and to supporting other related and/or worthy charitable causes.

Leveraging his passion and position as head baseball coach at Texas Christian University, Jim Schlossnagle along with his wife Kami, started the RB Eye Foundation to help positively impact local children who face the uncertainty of life-changing and vision-altering pediatric eye diseases and conditions.

The RB Eye Foundation works in partnership with and financially supports the Child Vision Center of Fort Worth. Conceived and founded by the physicians of Pediatric Eye Specialists, the Child Vision Center is an innovative, nonprofit research and diagnostic center led by a team of pediatric ophthalmologists and ophthalmology specialists designed to create a world-class diagnostic and research center in order to provide care to all children who need it.
